The Automated Football Circumference and Sphericity Test System is an automated test station for football manufacturers. The ball is measured through a full 360° rotation, and the system then compares roundness, sphericity and circumference with the preset tolerance range and shows a pass or fail.

The problem
Roundness is hard to judge with a tape and a gauge
A ball that is a few millimetres out of round flies and bounces differently. Checking circumference by hand gives one number from one line around the ball, and says little about how spherical it really is.

Radius statistics
Average, minimum and maximum radius, radius deviation and standard deviation.
Tolerance check built in
Select FIFA Quality or FIFA Quality Pro and the measured values are compared with its tolerance range automatically.
Quality report
Every ball gets a pass / fail verdict and an exportable quality report.
